NABARD GRADE A Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for various post is applicable as decided by NABARD India. Please be aware that the eligibility criteria mentioned here are the fundamental requirements for applying to the position. During the interview, candidates must present the original documents along with self-attested photocopies to verify their identity, eligibility in terms of category, nationality, age, educational qualifications, etc., as stated in the online application form. Nationality : Applicants for Company recruitment must be Indian citizens.

NABARD GRADE A Recruitment 2023 Education Qualification :

Applicants are required to hold a valid certificate indicating successful completion of the qualifying examination by September 01, 2023. The specified minimum educational qualifications for different disciplines are as follows:

Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (RURAL DEVELOPMENT BANKING SERVICE) (RDBS) required academic qualifications :

GENERALISTS :

A Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (for SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 55%) OR a Post Graduate degree such as MBA/PGDM with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks (for SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 50%) OR qualification as a CA/CS/ICWA OR a Ph.D. from institutions recognized by the Government of India/UGC.

Computer/Information Technology :

A Bachelor’s Degree in fields like Computer Science, Computer Technology, Computer Applications, or Information Technology with an aggregate of 60% marks (for SC/ST/PWBD – 55%) OR a Post Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Computer Applications, or Information Technology with an aggregate of 55% marks (for SC/ST/PWBD- 50%).

Finance :

BBA (Finance/Banking) / BMS (Finance/Banking) with minimum 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 55%)
OR Two years full time P.G. Diploma in Management (Finance) / Full time MBA (Finance) /MMS (Finance) degree with 55% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 50%).
Candidates has to submit a certificate specialization in finance.
OR Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis with 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 55%).
OR Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Membership of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) OR CFA Institute
OR Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ACMA/FCMA) & ICWA.

Company Secretary :

You must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any field, along with Associate membership in the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Your ICSI membership must have been acquired on or before September 1, 2023.

Civil Engineering :

B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / MTech in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks (ST/SC/PWBD -55%).

Electrical Engineering :

B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / MTech in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks (ST/SC/PWBD -55%).

Geo Informatics :

B.E. / B.Tech / BSC / ME/M.Tech/MSc degree in Geoinformatics with minimum 55% marks (PWBD applicants – 50%).

Forestry :

Bachelors Degree/ Post Graduate Degree in Forestry with minimum 60 % marks (ST/SC/PWBD -55%).

Food Processing :

Bachelors Degree in Food Processing/ Food Technology with 60 % (ST/SC/PWBD -55%) or PG degree in Food Processing/ Food Technology with 55% (50% for PWBD).

Statistics :

Bachelors Degree in Statistics with 60 % (ST/SC/PWBD -55%) or PG degree in Statistics with 55% (50% for PWBD).

Mass Communication/Media Specialists :

Bachelor’s degree/ PG degree in Mass Media/ Communication/ Journalism/ Advertising & Public Relations from a recognized University/ Institution. For Bachelors minimum 60 % marks (for PWBD- 55 %). For PG minimum 55% (for PWBD – 50 %).

NABARD Grade A Recruitment 2023 Age Limit :

Age limit detail about various post under NABARD GRADE A Notification 2023.

• Age limit for Unreserved/ EWS- 21-30 years.
• age relaxation as per reservation rule applied – For OBC – 3year, For or ST/SC -5 years relaxation given.
• Age relaxation for Physically disabled person under is 10 year.
• For Ex-Servicemen 5 year age relaxation will be given.
• The critical date for determining the age of candidates is set as 01.09.2023, To be eligible, a candidate’s date of birth must fall within the range of 02.09.1993 to 01.09.2002 both dates inclusive.

NABARD GRADE A Recruitment 2023 Selection Process :

The selection process for various post of Assistant Manager (Rural Development Banking Services) is given below according to Nabard Grade A Notification.

The Selection in three phases (i) Preliminary Exam (ii) Mains Examination (iii) Interview Process.

Preliminary Exam Pattern for NABARD GRADE A :

There will be 1/4th negative marking for each wrong answer. The Preliminary Exam Pattern is common for all. There will be total 200 question (MCQ) and Time duration will be 2 Hours.

(i) Qualification Section – Comprising tests in Reasoning, English Language, Computer Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, and Decision Making. ii) Merit Section – Covering topics in General Awareness, Economic and Social Issues (with a focus on Rural India), and Agriculture & Rural Development, with an emphasis on Rural India. iii) Candidates will be shortlisted for the Main exam based solely on their performance in the Merit section only.

Exam Pattern For Mains Exam NABARD Grade A :

Exam Pattern for the post of Generalist : In main exam there will be two paper – Paper 1 and paper 2.

Paper 1 will be an Online Descriptive English Language exam with 3 questions, 100 marks, and a 90-minute time limit. Answers will be typed on a keyboard.

Paper 2 covers Economic and Social Issues as well as Agriculture and Rural Development. It is a combination of both Objective and Descriptive components. There are 30 Objective questions, totaling 50 marks, with a time limit of 30 minutes. In the Descriptive section, there will be 6 questions, and candidates are expected to answer 4 of them – 2 questions worth 15 marks each (with varying difficulty levels) and 2 questions worth 10 marks each.

Exam Pattern for the post of Specialists : In main exam there will be two paper – Paper 1 and paper 2.

Paper 1 will be an Online Descriptive English Language exam with 3 questions, 100 marks, and a 90-minute time limit. Answers will be typed on a keyboard.

Paper 2 covers Stream Specific topics. It is a combination of both Objective and Descriptive components. There are 30 Objective questions, totaling 50 marks, with a time limit of 30 minutes. In the Descriptive section, there will be 6 questions, and candidates are expected to answer 4 of them – 2 questions worth 15 marks each (with varying difficulty levels) and 2 questions worth 10 marks each.

NABARD GRADE A RECRUITMENT 2023 INTERVIEW PROCESS : Only candidates who achieve a score equal to or higher than the minimum cutoff marks in the Main Examination will be eligible for shortlisting for the interview. Marks for Interview will be 50 . Candidate can give interview in English or Hindi.

Final merit list will be prepared after mains examination and interview process.

NABARD GRADE A Recruitment 2023 Salary :

Salary Structure: The selected candidates will commence with a basic monthly pay of Rs. 44,500/- within the pay scale of Rs. 44,500 – 2,500 (4) – 54,500 – 2,850 (7) – 74,450 – EB – 2,850 (4) – 85,850 – 3,300 (1) – 89,150 (17 Years), which is applicable to Officers in Grade ‘A’. Additionally, they will be entitled to receive Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Grade Allowance in accordance with the prevailing rules. Currently, the initial monthly total emoluments are approximately Rs. 1,00,000/-.

Probation Period : Probation period for all the selected candidate will be 2 Years initially.
