CIL Management Trainee Recruitment 2023 Education Qualification :
Education criteria for various post is applicable as decided by Coal India Limited.
Mining– Degree in Mining Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
Civil– Degree in the Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
Geology- M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Geology or Applied Geology / Geophysics or Applied Geophysics with minimum 60% marks.
The minimum qualifying marks for General & Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category candidates are 60%. However, for SC, ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates, there is a relaxation of 5%, bringing the minimum qualifying marks to 55%. If your qualifications are represented in CGPA/GPA, it is essential to attach a conversion certificate issued by your University/Institute when applying.
Candidates who are in their final semester/year/trimester of the 2022-23 academic session, meet the minimum required qualification, and have appeared in the examination, are eligible to apply if their names appear on the qualified list provided by the Organizing Institute.
NOTE- This recruitment is based on the GATE exam. Candidates must have a qualified GATE 2023 scorecard or their application will be rejected.

CIL Management Trainee Recruitment 2023 Age Details :
Age limit detail about Coal India Management Trainee Recruitment 2023. Crucial date for age calculation for upper age limit is 31 August 2023.
Age limit for UR/EWS should be note more than 30 years.
Age limit for OBC should be not more than 33 years. (3 years age relaxation given).
Age limit for ST/SC should be note more than 35 years. (5 years age relaxation given).
Age limit relaxation for PWBD (UR/ OBC/ SC/ ST) candidate will be 10 years, 13 years, 15 years respectively.
Coal India Management Trainee Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:
The Coal India Limited Recruitment for Management Trainee selection process-
Candidates who have taken the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE – 2023) and meet the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted based on their GATE-2023 Scores/Marks. Shortlisting will be done discipline-wise and category-wise, in the ratio of 1:3, according to their merit, for the subsequent selection process.
In the event of a tie in GATE Score, the following criteria will be followed to determine the final merit ranking:
i) Applicants with a higher percentage mark/CGPA in the minimum eligible qualification will be ranked higher on the merit list. ii) If a tie persists even after applying the above criterion (i), the applicant who is older in age will be ranked higher.
The final merit list for each discipline will be compiled using GATE-2023 Scores/Marks. Only GATE Scores/Marks from the year 2023 will be considered valid for this recruitment process, and scores from before or after GATE-2023 will not be taken into account.
On successful completion of document verification, submission of medical certificate in prescribed format, the candidates selected on probation period.

Coal India Management Trainees Salary :
The candidates who are selected will start as Management Trainees in the E-2 Grade with a salary scale of ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000 per month, beginning with a basic pay of ₹50,000 per month during the training period. Training period will be one year. After successfully completed training period and pass test for regularization, candidate promoted to E-3 basic pay level which is approximately 60,000 to 1,80,000 per month.
