Upon declaration of the result, the shortlisted applicants will be informed through SMS on his/her registered mobile number/email about the dates for physical verification of the documents. शार्टलिस्‍टेड केंडिडेट को SMS द्वारा उनके registered mobile numberपर या email id डाक्‍युमेंट वेरिफिकेशन संबंधित जानकारी समय समय पर दी जाऐगी इसलिए सभी केंडिडेट से अनुरोध है कि वह अपना mobile number और email id apply करते समय अच्‍छी तरह check कर लेंं।

The applicant will be required to approach the designated Engaging Authorities within a period of 15 days, i.e., system will initially provide a period of 10 days for reporting and a reminder for the same in extended time of 05 more days from the receipt of offer of provisional engagement, if the Verifying Authority is not itself the Engaging Authority. If the applicants fails to report the Engaging Authority within stipulated 15 days period, his/her candidature will be rejected.

For registration on the Portal, the applicants must have their own active email id and mobile number. All the important, including
declaration of result of shortlisting, offer of provisional engagement etc. would be sent on the registered mobile number thorough SMS/Email only.
पोर्टल पर पंजीकरण के लिए, आवेदकों के पास अपना सक्रिय ईमेल आईडी और मोबाइल नंबर होना चाहिए। सभी महत्वपूर्ण सूचनाएं, संक्षिप्त सूची के परिणाम की घोषणा, प्राविधिक नियुक्ति की पेशकश आदि केवल पंजीकृत मोबाइल नंबर पर SMS/ईमेल के माध्यम से भेजी जाएंगी।

जब आवेदक पंजीकृत हो जाएं, तो उसी मोबाइल नंबर का उपयोग किसी अन्य आवेदक के लिए और किसी भी अन्य पंजीकरण के लिए अनुमति नहीं होगी। एक मोबाइल नंबर से केवल एक उम्मीदवार पंजीकरण के लिए ही आवेदन किया जा सकता है। यदि एक ही मोबाइल नंबर के माध्यम से एक से अधिक पंजीकरण किए गए हैं, तो भारतीय डाक विभाग द्वारा उम्मीदवार का फॉर्म रद्द कर दिया जाएगा।अगर उम्मीदवार अपना पंजीकरण संख्या भूल गया है, तो वह आधिकारिक पोर्टल पर जाकर अपने मोबाइल या ईमेल पर फिर से पंजीकरण संख्या प्राप्त कर सकता है।

SELECTION OF DIVISION AND EXERCISING REFERENCES: ऑनलाइन फॉर्म भरते समय डिवीजन का चयन

An applicant can only apply one or more vacant posts of GDS in only in one of the selected Divisions. Before selecting Division option, applicant has to validate his/her details by giving Registration number and OTP sent to the registered mobile number. On selecting the Division, a list of all eligible posts (based on the community and Age) will be displayed against which applicant has to give preferences. Applicant will not be considered for a post, for which he/she has not given/indicated his/her preference(s).

Example: – If a applicant opts for five posts in a Division with preference post1,post2, post3, post4, post5 etc. and selected as meritorious in more than one
post.

एक आवेदक केवल एक या एक से अधिक रिक्त पदों के लिए जीडीएस में केवल एक चयनित डिवीजन में ही आवेदन कर सकता है। डिवीजन विकल्प को चुनने से पहले, आवेदक को अपना पंजीकरण संख्या और पंजीकृत मोबाइल नंबर पर भेजा गया OTP देकर अपना विवरण सत्यापित करना होगा। डिवीजन का चयन करते ही, सभी पात्र पदों की सूची (समुदाय और आयु के आधार पर) प्रदर्शित की जाएगी, जिसके खिलाफ आवेदकों को प्राथमिकता देनी होगी। वह पद पर कोई विचार नहीं किया जाएगा, जिसके लिए उन्होंने अपनी प्राथमिकता (ओर्डर) नहीं दी है। हालांकि, यदि चयनित होते हैं, तो केवल एक पद ही संलग्न किया जाएगा और उनके अन्य सभी पदों के अधिकार खत्म कर दिए जाएंगे।

उदाहरण: – यदि एक आवेदक एक डिवीजन में प्राथमिकता पद1, पद2, पद3, पद4, पद5 आदि के लिए पांच पदों का चयन करता है और एक से अधिक पदों में उत्कृष्ट मान्यता प्राप्त करता है, तो प्राथमिकता क्रम में पहला पद, जिसके लिए वह सबसे उपयुक्त पाया जाता है, प्रस्तावित किया जाएगा और उसके अन्य सभी पदों के लिए उम्मीदवारता रद्द कर दी जाएगी।

UPLOADING OF DOCUMENTS:
The applicant is required to upload only the following documents at the time of submitting online application in the formats and sizes as prescribed. Hence, it is
advised to keep the scanned documents ready in softcopy form before applying.

Recent photograph less than 50 kb in jpg/jpeg format.

Signature scan size less than 20 kb in jpg/jpeg format.

The candidates are advised to
select the Divisional head of the Division in which he/she is applying to expedite the verification of documents at later stage. However, at his/her option any other
Divisional head may be selected near to his/her place for the purpose.

सत्यापन प्राधिकारी का चयन: चयनित आवेदकों का चयन पूरी तरह से ऑनलाइन आवेदन जमा करने के समय आवेदक द्वारा दी गई अंकों/डेटा पर आधारित होगा। हालांकि, चयन ऑनलाइन आवेदन में दी गई डेटा/अंकों के साथ मूल प्रमाण-पत्र/मार्कशीट आदि की सत्यापन के आधार पर होगा। इसलिए, उम्मीदवारों को आवेदन पत्र जमा करते समय ही प्रमाण-पत्र की सत्यापन के लिए एक सत्यापन प्राधिकारी का चयन करना होगा।

WINDOW FOR APPLICATION FORM CORRECTION:
After closing of the online application date candidate can change /modify their application between 3 days if any error occured. that means 11 june last date and 14 june last date for modification.

Provisionally shortlisted applicants must report for document verification along with following original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies

What is the work of gramin dak sevak (ग्रामीण डाक सेवक के काम) :-

There are two posts under gramin dak sevak (1)Branch Post Master (2) Assistant Branch post master

BRIEF JOB PROFILE AND RESIDENCE /ACCOMMODATION:
(i) BRANCH POSTMASTER (BPM) Salary -Rs.12,000-29,380/ per month

The Job Profile of Branch Post Master include:
Day to day postal operations of Branch Post Office (B.O) and India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) in the manner as prescribed by the Department from time to time. Marketing and promotions of products and services being provided by the Department and operating various services in the Customer Services’ Centres (CSC) of the Department etc.
In the single-handed BOs, BPMs have the overall responsibility of smooth and timely functioning of the Office including mail conveyance and
mail delivery.

शाखा डाकघर (बी.ओ.) और इंडिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक (आईपीपीबी) के दैनिक डाकीय कार्यों को विभाग द्वारा समय-समय पर निर्धारित ढंग से संचालित किया जाएगा। इसके साथ ही, विभाग द्वारा प्रदान की जा रही उत्पादों और सेवाओं के मार्केटिंग और प्रमोशन, विभाग के ग्राहक सेवा केंद्रों (सीएससी) में विभिन्न सेवाओं का प्रचालन आदि भी किया जाता है। एकल हस्त डाकघरों में, शाखा पोस्टमास्टर (बीपीएम) को कार्यालय के सहज और समय पर कार्यान्वयन की संपूर्ण जिम्मेदारी होती है, जिसमें मेल ले जाने और मेल वितरण समेत होता है।

Residence/Accommodation: The applicant selected as GDS BPM will have to provide accommodation for Branch Post Office after selection but before engagement.

In the BOs other than single-handed, the BPMs may be assisted by ABPM(s). However, BPM will be required to do combined duties of ABPM(s) as and when ordered or in the case of non-availability of ABPM (s). Any other work can also be assigned by superiors like Mail Overseer (M.O)/Inspector Post (IPO) / Assistant Superintendent of Post (ASPO)/ Superintendent of Post offices (SPOs) /Senior Superintendent of Post Office (SSPOs) etc. Residence/Accommodation: The applicant selected as GDS BPM will have to provide accommodation for Branch Post Office after selection but before engagement.

(ii) ASSISTANT BRANCH POSTMASTER (ABPM) Salary -Rs.10,000-24,470/per month

The Job Profile of Assistant Branch Post Master include:

Sale of stamps/stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail at doorstep, exchange the mail with account office etc. deposits/payments/other transactions of IPPB.
To assist BPM in postal operations in a manner as prescribed by the Department from time to time.
Marketing and promotions of products and services being provided by Department and operating various services in the Customer Services’
Centres (CSC) of the Department etc.
ABPM may also be required to do Combined Duty of BPM as and when ordered in case of non-availability of BPM in addition to his/her regular duties.
Any other work assigned by superiors like IPO/ASPO/SPOs/SSPOs etc.
Residence: ABPMs are required to reside within the delivery

मोहरा/स्टेशनरी की बिक्री, मेल की मुद्रा की व्यवस्था, घरों तक मेल का पहुंचाना, खाता कार्यालय के साथ मेल का विनिमय आदि। विभाग द्वारा निर्धारित ढंग से डाक के संचालन में बीपीएम की सहायता करना। विभाग द्वारा प्रदान की जाने वाली उत्पादों और सेवाओं के मार्केटिंग और प्रचार, विभाग के ग्राहक सेवा केंद्रों (सीएससी) में विभिन्न सेवाएं संचालित करना आदि। बीपीएम न उपलब्ध होने की स्थिति में एबीपीएम को अपने नियमित कर्तव्यों के अलावा बीपीएम का संयुक्त कर्तव्य करने के लिए आदेश दिया जा सकता है। इत्यादि जैसे आईपीओ/एएसपीओ/एसपीओ/एसएसपीओ इत्यादि द्वारा आदेशित किया गया कोई अन्य कार्य। निवास: एबीपीएम को डिलीवरी क्षेत्र के अंदर निवास करने की आवश्यकता होती है।
