SJVN Limited, a Mini Ratna company categorized as a Schedule– ‘A’ Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, was established on May 24, 1988, as a collaborative venture between the Government of India (GOI) and the Government of Himachal Pradesh (GOHP).

The Satluj River, also spelled as Sutlej, is one of the major rivers in South Asia, originating from the Tibet. It flows through Tibet, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab in India, before entering Pakistan and eventually joining the Indus River. The Satluj River plays a significant role in the irrigation and agriculture of the regions it traverses and has been a historically important watercourse in this part of the world.

SJVN Recruitment 2023 :

The Arunachal Pradesh Government has allocated hydro projects with a capacity of 5097 MW to SJVN. As part of its ambitious expansion and rapid growth, SJVN is seeking to hire skilled professionals on a Fixed Tenure basis for projects in Arunachal Pradesh and invites applications from dedicated and promising individuals.

Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Recruitment Post Details :

For each post, different educational qualifications, the number of vacancies, and specific medical category requirements have been requested. Candidates are required to fulfill the respective eligibility criteria as specified for each position.

Field Engineer -All the technical post related to engineers will be called as Field Engineer.

Field Officer– All non technical post in the areas like Human Resource, Finance & Accounts, PR, OL, Law, Architecture etc, will be called as Field Officer.

Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Recruitment 2023 Salary :

The total salary for SJVN Field Engineer/ Field Officer will be approximately 60,000 per month. All other facilities like TA/DA Medical Insurance will also provided.

The initial contract/temporary period for these vacancies is 3 years, with the possibility of a 2-year extension if required.

The selected candidates will be posted in the area of Arunachal Pradesh only.

SJVN Recruitment 2023 Education Qualification :

SJVN Recruitment 2023 Age Limit :

Only individuals who are Indian citizens and aged 18 years or older are eligible to apply for SJVN.

Age limit for UR/EWS is 30 years, with age relaxation as per government rules. Age limit for OBC is 33 years and for SC/ST is 35 years (three years and five years age relaxation provided respectively). Upper age limit date is September 29, 2023.

SJVN Recruitment 2023 Selection Process :

The selection process involves a Computer Based Test/Written Test, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The CBT/Written Test carries a weightage of 75%, Group Discussion accounts for 10%, and the Personal Interview holds a weightage of 15%.

Computer Based Test: The exam comprises two parts. Part-I includes 120 multiple-choice questions related to the discipline, and Part-II has 30 multiple-choice questions on Executive Aptitude. To qualify in the CBT, candidates must score a minimum of 40% for SC/ST/PWD and 50% for others.

The application fees for UR/ EWS/ OBC candidates will be 600 rs + 18 % gst.
