EPFO SSA Stage I exam pattern :

EPFO SSA phase 1 exam pattern :

Each question will carry 4 marks.
The marks scored in Phase-I will be considered for the final merit-based selection.
A negative marking of one fourth of the assigned mark will be applied for each incorrect answer.
The English comprehension section will consist of objective questions.
The total marks for the examination will be 600.
Candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II at a ratio of 1:10, meaning approximately 10 times the number of vacancies in each category, based on their Phase-I performance.
If the examination is conducted in multiple sessions, scores will be equalized across sessions using standard practices to account for slight differences in difficulty levels of various test sections.

EPFO SSA Stage II exam pattern

Epfo ssa phase II computer based skill test : Applicants will need to participate in a Skill Test aimed at evaluating their speed and precision in Data Entry Work. The required typing speed is 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi, both on a computer. (A typing rate of 35 words per minute and 30 words per minute translates to 10500 Key Depression Per Hour (KDPH) / 9000 KDPH on average, considering 5 key depressions for each word during Data Entry Work.) Candidates who are shortlisted for the Skill Test will be obligated to attend the assessment.

Computer skill test will be only in qulifying in nature, candidate need to only pass in skill test. No marks will be added in final merit list.

The tentative Answer Keys, as well as the question paper and the recorded responses, will be made available to the respective candidates on the aforementioned websites for a duration of 2 to 3 days.
