The primary aim of the Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board is to ensure the maintenance of water, air, and soil in a healthy and usable condition for various purposes. The board operates through 2 Zonal Offices (Jabalpur and Mandideep), 13 Regional Offices, and 4 District Offices, all staffed with trained personnel and equipped with sophisticated instruments. These offices are dedicated to vigilantly monitoring environmental activities in the state to achieve our objectives.

Essential education qualification for Assistant Engineer Environment is as Follows :

Assistant Engineer Environment : BE/ BTECH in Environmental Engineering or CIVIL / Chemical Engineering with Masters degree in Environmental Engineering.

Note : The candidate must have a GATE Score Card from 2021, 2022, or 2023.

The selection will be based on a merit list prepared using the valid GATE Scores from the previous three years: 2021, 2022, and 2023.

When two candidates have the same marks or percentile on their GATE Score Cards, preference will be given to the older candidate. (i) High School Examination mark sheet as proof of date of birth.

(ii) Mark sheet of B.E./B.Tech. in Environmental Engineering, OR Civil/Chemical Engineering with a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from a recognized University.

(iii) Proof of meeting the prescribed qualification and possessing a valid GATE score from the previous three years: 2021/2022/2023.

(iv) For departmental candidates – an Experience certificate demonstrating employment with MPPCB for age relaxation.

(v) Caste certificate (Permanent), issued by Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue)/Competent Officer of the Government of MP, in accordance with GoMP, GAD (Reservation Cell) circular No. F 7-2/92/a1./T# dated 01.08.1996, and any subsequent amendments (if applicable), for reserve category candidates.

(vi) MP Domicile certificate, along with the Caste certificate (if applicable), for candidates seeking age relaxation as mentioned in paragraph 2 above.

(vii) Medical Certificate of disability (40% or above), issued by the District Medical Board, in the case of PWD candidates.”
