NIACL AO Recruitment 2023 : The New India Assurance Company Ltd., a reputed Public Sector General Insurance Company, extends an invitation for applications for the recruitment of Administrative Officers (Generalists & Specialists) in Scale I cadre from the open market.

The number of tentative vacancies for the posts of Niacl Administrative Officers is 450 posts .

Niacl AO recruitment 2023 notification details :

NIACL AO recruitment 2023 for Administrative Officer as Generalist and Specialist category.

Candidates are required to apply for only ONE discipline. Submitting applications for multiple disciplines will result in all the candidate’s applications being considered invalid.

Niacl AO Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for various post is applicable as decided by NIACL India. Please be aware that the eligibility criteria mentioned here are the fundamental requirements for applying to the position. During the interview, candidates must present the original documents along with self-attested photocopies to verify their identity, eligibility in terms of category, nationality, age, educational qualifications, etc., as stated in the online application form. It is essential to note that no changes to the application data will be allowed after the completion of the online registration process.

Nationality : Applicants for Company recruitment must be either:

• (a) Indian citizens,
• (b) Nepali subjects,
• (c) Bhutanese subjects,
• (d) Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, or
• (e) Persons of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
• Note: Candidates falling under categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

NIACL AO Recruitment 2023 Education Qualification :

Niacl AO Generalist Education qualification:

For the position of Generalists, candidates must have a minimum qualification of a graduate/post-graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification acknowledged as such by the Central Government. General candidates should have scored at least 60% marks in their degree examination, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates should have obtained a minimum of 55% marks.

NIACL Administrative Officer Specialist Education qualification:

Candidates must possess the following minimum qualification for applying for NIACL Administrative Officers Generalist and Specialist Recruitment.

Risk Engineer :

Risk Engineering primarily focuses on analyzing and assessing risks at insured entities, taking into account coverages related to “property damage” (such as fire, explosion, weather damage, etc.), “machinery breakdown,” and “loss of profit” linked to material damage and/or machinery breakdown.

Required Education : Any Engineering (Graduate/ Post-graduate), BE/BTECH/ME/MTECH with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Automobile Engineer :

Candidates applying for the Automobile Engineer must meet one of the following qualification criteria:

1. B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech in Automobile Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD). OR

2. B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) along with a Diploma (at least one year duration) in Automobile Engineering.

Legal Officers :

Candidates must have completed their Graduate/Post-graduate degree in Law with a minimum of 60% marks. For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, the minimum required marks are 55%

Accounts :

Candidates should be a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and have completed their Graduation/Post-graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, the minimum required marks are 55%.

Administrative Officer (Health) :

M.B.B.S / M.D. / M.S. or PG-Medical Degree Or B.D.S/ M.D.S Or BAMS/BHMS (graduate or post-graduate)
from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree (at least 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).

or equivalent foreign degrees which are recognized as such by the National Medical Commission.

Furthermore, the candidate must be holding a valid registration from the respective authority.

IT Specialists :

B.E./B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in IT or CS Discipline Or M.C.A with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).

The educational qualifications must be from a University/Institution/Board recognized by the Government of India or approved by Government Regulatory Bodies, and the result should have been declared on or before 01.08.2023.

Niacl AO Recruitment 2023 Age Limit :

• Age limit for Unreserved/ EWS- 21-30 years.
• age relaxation as per reservation rule applied – For OBC – 3year, For or ST/SC -5 years relaxation given.
• Age relaxation for Physically disabled person under is 10 year.
• For Ex-Servicemen 5 year age relaxation will be given.
• For Existing employee working in public sector general insurance companies 8 year relaxation given.
• The critical date for determining the age of candidates is set as 01.08.2023, To be eligible, a candidate’s date of birth must fall within the range of 2nd August 1993 to 1st August 2002, both dates inclusive.

Niacl AO Recruitment 2023 Notification Selection Process :

The selection process for niacl ao will be consist of three phases.

Phase -I Preliminary Examination : Objective type computer based. Common for both Generalist and Specialist posts.

Phase -II Mains Examination : Mains Examination will consist of objective and descriptive type . Different exam pattern for both the post of Generalist and Specialist.

Phase -III Interview : Candidates who shortlisted in phase II will be called for interview. The weightage for online exam and interview will be 75 : 25 .

Final Selection :The final selection will be determined by the consolidated marks obtained in the main examination (objective test and Descriptive test) and the Interview.

Phase -I Preliminary Examination :

Online pre exam consist of 100 marks and time duration 1 hour. There will be 1/4th negative marking for each wrong answer.

Candidates must achieve passing marks in each test/section as determined by the Company. The Company will decide on an adequate number of candidates to be shortlisted for the Main Examination in each category, which will be approximately 15 times the number of vacancies, subject to availability.

Phase -II Mains Examination :

Mains examination will consist of objective test and descriptive test for both generalist and specialist. There will be one-fourth negative marking for each wrong answer.

Phase-II Objective test for Generalist :

Objective test phase II will consist of 200 marks and total time is 2 hour 30 minutes.

Phase-II Objective test for Specialist :

Candidates must achieve passing marks in each test/section as determined by the Company. The Company will decide on an adequate number of candidates to be shortlisted for the Main Examination in each category, which will be approximately 15 times the number of vacancies, subject to availability.

A candidate must pass the descriptive test, but the marks obtained in the descriptive test will not be considered for shortlisting candidates for the interview or final selection process.

NIACL Administrative Officers Generalist and Specialist Recruitment Application Fees :

• Online application fees for UR/Gen/EWS/OBC is 850 rupees only.
• Application fees for ST,SC Pwbd candidates is 100 rupees only.
