Education Qualification
Education criteria for various post is applicable as decided by Pgcil India.
Candidates who have educational qualification as mentioned and passed (date of result of final examination) within two years from the closing date of application -31 July 2023, and medically fit as per the provisions of the Apprentice Act, 1961 are eligible to apply for apprenticeship in POWERGRID.

Age Limit

Candidate must be more than 18 year old.
Candidates “not eligible to apply for the apprenticeship” –
Awaiting the results of their final examination. Not completed the 18 years of age. Undergone apprenticeship training in any organization for any duration. Job experience of more than 1 year.
Selection Process:
Final selection of candidate is based on their percentage marks in respective education. There is no exam or interview process for this apprenticeship vacancy.
Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed education qualification applicable to the respective post. Shortlisted candidates shall be informed through the registered email id and mobile sms. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for verification of documents. NO TA/DA shall be paid for verification of documents.
On successful completion of document verification, submission of medical certificate in prescribed format and the execution of Apprenticeship contract agreement, letter of engagement shall be issued to the candidates.

PGCIL apprentice recruitment 2023 stipend :
For graduate level such Graduate (electrical /civil/computer/ec/ it/ ) and HR executive, CSR executive, PR assistant, Law Executive stipend will be 17,500 per month for one year duration.
For diploma (elecrtical, civil ) stipend will be 15,000 per month for one year duration.
For iti (electrical) and secretarial assistant stipend will be 13,500 per month for one year duration.
