RRB Technician Vacancy 2024 Eligibility Criteria

| Technician Grade I Signal | 18 to 36 year |
| Technician Grade III | 18 to 33 year. |
- Age will be calculated as on 01/ 07/ 2024.
- In the upper age limit age relaxation will be given as per GOI rules, which is SC/ST- 05 years, OBC- 03 years.

RRB Technician Grade I Signal Education Qualification
A) Bachelor of Science in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Instrumentation.
OR
B) Three-year Diploma in Engineering in these fields.
OR
Engineering degree in the above mention fields.
RRB Technician Grade III Education Qualification
Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI f in related Fields for which candidate wants to apply.
Technician Grade III S/T – 10+2 (PCM) Eligible.
RRB Technician Notification 2024 Post Vacancy Details
As per the latest notification issued by RRB, the number of tentative vacancy for Technician in various trade will be 9000. The detail of railway technician vacancy 2024 notification will be issued in February 2024. The online application form for this vacancy will be available for submission from March to April 2024. The Computer Based Tests (CBTs) are expected to take place between October and December 2024. The shortlist for Document Verification is set to be published in February 2025.

RRB Technician Vacancy Examination Fees
The examination fees for UR/ EWS and OBC male candidates will be 500 rupees, out of which 400 rupees will be refunded to only those candidates who will appear in CBT tier 1 exam. railway technician vacancy 2024 notification
Similarly examination fees for SC/ST / ESM / EBC and all Female candidates will be 250 rupees will be refunded to only those candidates who will appear in CBT tier 1 exam.

Note: Candidates eligible for multiple educational qualifications enabling them to apply for both Pay Levels 2 and Pay Level 5 (e.g., ITI in the relevant trade and one of the prescribed qualifications for Technician Grade III Signal) must submit separate applications for each Pay Level. That is, one application for Technician Grade III and another for Technician Grade I Signal.”
