UIIC recruitment 2023 for Administrative Officer (Scale 1) for various categories in UIIC.

UIIC Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria for various post is applicable as decided by UIIC India. Please be aware that the eligibility criteria mentioned here are the fundamental requirements for applying to the position. During the interview, candidates must present the original documents along with self-attested photocopies to verify their identity, eligibility in terms of category, nationality, age, educational qualifications, etc., as stated in the online application form. It is essential to note that no changes to the application data will be allowed after the completion of the online registration process.
Nationality : Applicants for Company recruitment must be either:
- (a) Indian citizens,
- (b) Nepali subjects,
- (c) Bhutanese subjects,
- (d) Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, or
- (e) Persons of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
- Note: Candidates falling under categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
UIIC Recruitment 2023 Education Qualification :

UIIC AO Specialist Education qualification:
Applicants are required to hold a valid certificate indicating successful completion of the qualifying examination by March 31, 2023. The specified minimum educational qualifications for different disciplines are as follows:
Legal Specialist :
Bachelor Degree in law with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST category) from a recognized University. OR Master degree in law from a recognized University. And 3 Years’ experience as a practicing lawyer (2 years for SC / ST Candidates) and the candidate must be registered with Bar Council of India.
Accounts/ Finance Specialist :
Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) or B.Com. with 60% marks (55% for SC / ST category) or M.Com. from a recognized University.
Company Secretory :
Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks for Gen & OBC ,55% for SC/ST and candidates should have passed the Final examination of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
Actuary :
Bachelor degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Actuarial Science or any other quantitative discipline with 60% marks(55% for SC/ST ) or Master degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Actuarial Science or any other quantitative discipline.
Doctor :
M.B.B.S / BAMS/BHMS (graduate or post-graduate) from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree (at least 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). Furthermore, the candidate must be holding a valid registration from the respective authority.
Engineer (Civil/ Mech/ EE/ EC/ CS/ IT/ IS ) :
A B.Tech. / BE degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics/ Electronics Communication / Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Information Science with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST ) OR an M.Tech. / ME degree in same engineering disciplines mentioned above.
Agriculture Specialist :
Bachelor degree in Agriculture Discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST category) or Master degree in Agriculture Discipline.
NOTE : Candidates must have successfully completed the aforementioned qualification on or prior to March 31, 2023. Individuals who have taken their final examination for the minimum educational qualification by March 31, 2023, but have their results declared after this date, are not eligible to apply.
UIIC Recruitment 2023 Age Limit :

- age relaxation as per reservation rule applied – For OBC – 3year, For or ST/SC -5 years relaxation given.
- Age relaxation for Physically disabled person under is 10 year.
- For Ex-Servicemen 5 year age relaxation will be given.
- For Existing employee working in public sector general insurance companies 8 year relaxation given.
- The critical date for determining the age of candidates is set as 31.03.2023, To be eligible, a candidate’s date of birth must fall within the range of 01.04.1993 to 31.03.2002, both dates inclusive.
United India Insurance Company Recruitment 2023 Selection Process :
The selection process for uiic ao specialist will be consist of two phases (except for Doctors).
Phase -I Online Examination : Objective type computer based.
Phase -II Interview : Candidates who shortlisted in phase I will be called for interview. The weightage for online exam and interview will be 75 : 25 .
Final Selection :The final selection will be determined by the consolidated marks obtained in the online examination and the Interview.
For the posts of Doctors there will be only interview round no written test for Doctor.

Phase -I Online Examination :
Online exam consist of 200 marks and time duration 2 hour. There will be 1/4th negative marking for each wrong answer.

Candidates must achieve passing marks in each test/section as determined by the Company. The Company will decide on an adequate number of candidates to be shortlisted for the interview in each category, which will be approximately 3 times the number of vacancies, subject to availability.
Phase -II Interview :
Candidates who successfully pass the Competitive Online Written Examination will be invited for an interview, with up to three times the number of vacancies available in the respective categories/disciplines. The ultimate selection will be determined by the performance in both the online objective test and the interview. The interview sessions will take place at designated centers.
Final merit list will be prepared based on marks in online written test and interview.

United India Insurance Company Recruitment 2023 Salary :
The offered basic pay falls within the range of Rs. 50,925 to Rs. 96,765, with incremental stages and applicable allowances. Additional perks such as Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Performance Linked Incentive (PLI), and participation in the National Pension System (NPS) are also provided in accordance with the Company’s regulations. Furthermore, access to leased accommodation is granted as per the Company’s policies. At metropolitan centers, the approximate gross pay would amount to Rs. 88,000 per month.
Probation Period : Upon being certified as medically fit, candidates who are selected may assume the role of an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (SCALE-I) on probation for a duration of one year, subject to the Company’s discretion to extend the probationary period.
