The National Seeds Corporation Ltd. (NSC) is classified as a Schedule ‘B’ Mini-Ratna Category-I company, entirely owned by the Government of India. It operates under the administrative jurisdiction of the Department of Agriculture Cooperation & Farmer’s Welfare, which falls within the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. NSC was founded in March 1963 with the primary objective of engaging in the production of foundation and certified seeds.

NSCL Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for various post is applicable as decided by NSCL India. Please be aware that the eligibility criteria mentioned here are the fundamental requirements for applying to the position. During the interview/Document Verification, candidates must present the original documents along with self-attested photocopies to verify their identity, eligibility in terms of category, nationality, age, educational qualifications, etc., as stated in the online application form. It is essential to note that no changes to the application data will be allowed after the completion of the online registration process.

Nationality : Only Indian Citizens are eligible to apply.

National Seeds Corporation Recruitment 2023 Education Qualification :

Check the education qualification for different posts mentioned in NSCL recruitment 2023. The specified minimum educational qualifications for different disciplines are as follows:

Junior Officer I (LEGAL) :

Professional degree in Law from a recognised University. Plus 1 year working experience as Advocate.

Junior Officer I (VIGILANCE) :

Any Graduate with 60 % and two -five year experience at govt./ psu department.

Management Trainee (Marketing) :

Candidate should have B.Sc. (Agriculture) and MBA (Mktg./Agri. Business Management) full time or Two years Full time PG Degree/Diploma in Marketing/Agri. Business Management OR M.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum 60%* marks.

Management Trainee (Electrical) :

BE/ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60 %.

Management Trainee (Civil) :

BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 60 %.

Trainee (Agriculture) :

B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum 60%* marks. Knowledge of Computer MS Office mandatory.

Trainee (Marketing) :

B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum 60%* marks. Knowledge of Computer MS Office mandatory.

Trainee (Quality Control) :

B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum 60%* marks. Knowledge of Computer MS Office mandatory.

Trainee (Stenographer) :

Candidates should have completed Senior Secondary or an equivalent qualification and hold a three-year Diploma in Office Management with a minimum of 60% marks. The diploma should include Stenography.

Alternatively, candidates with a Graduate degree from a recognized university with at least 60% marks are also eligible, preferably with a Certificate course in Stenography.

Additionally, proficiency in computer operations, including MS Office, a working understanding of the Hindi language, expertise in Office Management, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Applicants must pass a Shorthand Test at a speed of 80 words per minute in English and a Computer Typing Test at a speed of 30 words per minute in English. Both the Shorthand Test and the Computer Typing Test are qualifying in nature. Passing both these tests is mandatory to be considered for shortlisting and inclusion in the Final Merit List.

Trainee (Agri Stores) :

B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum 60%* marks. Knowledge of Computer MS Office mandatory.

NOTE : Having a working knowledge of computers will be an additional advantage for all the positions.

NSCL Recruitment 2023 Age Limit :

Age limit detail about various post under National Seeds Corporation Recruitment 2023.

• Age limit for Junior Officer Posts Unreserved/ EWS maximum age 30 years.
• Age limit for Management Trainee / Trainee UR/EWS maximum age 27 years.
• age relaxation as per reservation rule applied – For OBC – 3year, For or ST/SC -5 years relaxation given.
• Age relaxation for Physically disabled person under is 10 year.
• For Ex-Servicemen 5 year age relaxation will be given.
• The critical date for determining the age of candidates is set as 25.09.2023.

National Seeds Corporation Recruitment 2023 Selection Process :

Management Trainee : For management trainees posts there will be computer based test followed by interview. Based on marks in both computer based test and interview final merit list will be prepared.

For the post of Junior Officer I and Trainee there will be computer based test and document verification round. For Trainee (Stenographer) skill test will be taken.
