National Seeds Corporation Recruitment 2023 Selection Process :

Management Trainee : For management trainees posts there will be computer based test followed by interview. Based on marks in both computer based test and interview final merit list will be prepared.

For the post of Junior Officer I and Trainee there will be computer based test and document verification round. For Trainee (Stenographer) skill test will be taken.

The weightage ratio of computer based online exam and Interview will be 70:30.

NSCL Recruitment 2023 syllabus and exam pattern will be different for each post. For Management trainee candidate will be called for interview. While for the post of Junior Officer Grade 1 and all the Trainee posts selection will depend on computer based test. For Trainee Stenographer one more round of skill test will be taken.

NSCL Recruitment 2023 Management Trainee Exam Pattern :

For the management trainee positions, there will be a computer-based test consisting of two sections: Section A and Section B. There will be 1/4 (0.25) negative marking for each wrong answer. Total time duration for CBT will be 90 minutes. Total Marks 100. Section A will be 70 marks and 70 mcq based question. Section B will be 30 marks and 30 mcq.

A candidate has to score a minimum of 35 marks out of 100 in order to proceed to the further recruitment process. However, the cutoff for the interview will be based on five times the number of available seats.

Section B will be common for all the posts of management trainee.

Section A will be based on the candidate’s professional knowledge for the post they have applied for.

Professional Knowledge syllabus for Section A :-

The question paper will be designed with a well-rounded distribution of questions, including 20% that are easy, 40% of average difficulty, and another 40% that are challenging. Here is a general outline of the types of questions that may be included in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the Management Trainee position:

Management Trainee (Marketing) : Agronomy, Seed Technology, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Agriculture Marketing/Agri. Business Management.

Management Trainee (Civil) : Building Materials, Estimating, Costing & Valuation, Surveying, Soil Mechanism and Hydraulics, Irrigation Engg. & Environmental Engg, Structural Engg. & Concrete Technology, RCC Design & Steel Design.

For Stenographer Trainee :

To create the final list of top candidates, all those who have achieved the minimum qualifying marks in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be invited for a scheduled Shorthand Test and Computer Typing Test. Passing both these tests – the Shorthand Test and Computer Typing Test – is essential for candidates to be considered for inclusion in the Final Merit List. The final list will be compiled for candidates in the UR/EWS/SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-servicemen categories, based on the available Trainee (Stenographer) positions.

Syllabus for Management Trainee Section B is common for all.

Professional Knowledge syllabus for Section A :-

The question paper will be designed with a well-rounded distribution of questions, including 20% that are easy, 40% of average difficulty, and another 40% that are challenging. Here is a general outline of the types of questions that may be included in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the Trainee position:

Trainee (Agriculture) : Questions related to BSC Agriculture subjects.

Trainee (Marketing) : Agriculture Economics, All subjects of B. Sc. (Agri.) except Agriculture Economics

Trainee (Quality Control) : Seed Technology (Certification), All subjects of B. Sc. (Agri.) except Seed Technology (Certification)

Trainee (Stenographer) : Principles of Management & Office Management and Office, Service & Secretarial Procedure

Trainee (Agri. Stores) : Entomology & Plant Pathology, All subjects of B. Sc. (Agri.) except Entomology & Plant Pathology
