IGNOU Non Teaching Posts Eligibility Criteria :

For each post, different age, education, are required. Nationality- Candidate must be Indian citizen. A subject of Nepal or Bhutan or Tibetan Refugee -candidate should have all essential documents with them.

IGNOU Non Teaching Staff Recruitment Age Details :

IGNOU Junior Assistant Cum Typist Post-

• The age limit for Unreserved (UR) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates will be 18 to 27 years maximum.
• Age relaxation OBC- 3 year, SC/ST- 5 year.

IGNOU Stenographer Post-

• The age limit for Unreserved (UR) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates will be 18 to 30 years maximum.
• Age relaxation OBC- 3 year, SC/ST- 5 year.

The age eligibility cut-off date is 21.12.2023 for online applications, and it remains unchanged even if the last date is extended.

IGNOU JAT and Stenographer Recruitment Education

IGNOU Junior Assistant Cum Typist Education Qualification-

• Candidate must be 12th pass or equivalent.
• Typing test with a speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer.
• Desirable : Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university.

IGNOU Junior Assistant Cum Typist Education Qualification-

• Candidate must be 12th pass or equivalent.
• Typing test with a speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer.
• Shorthand test @80 w.p.m.
• Desirable : Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university and Knowledge of computers.

IGNOU Non-Teaching Staff Recruitment Selection Process

The selection process for IGNOU Non-Teaching Staff Recruitment is conducted by national testing agency central universities recruitment exam board. Check IGNOU Junior Assistant-cum-Typist and Stenographer Exam Pattern-

The Selection process for both post is combination of tier 1 and tier 2 exam. The exam pattern for Tier 1 test is similar for both post, while tier 2 will be taken separately for both the posts.

Tier 1 Common exam for both JAT and Stenographer-

Tier 2 Exam for Junior Assistant cum Typist- Skill Test/Typing Test Qualifying in nature subject to minimum qualifying speed of 40 w.p.m in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi. Only for qualified candidate from Tier 1.

Tier 2 Exam for Stenographer :

• Stenography Test @ 80 w.p.m
• Typing Test Qualifying in nature subject to minimum qualifying speed of 40 w.p.m in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi

IGNOU Computer Based Test Exam Center

• Candidate has to give two exam city preference at the time of application for filling.
• Exam city and state will be – Delhi- Delhi/ New-Delhi, West-Bengal- Kolkata, Maharashtra- Mumbai, Assam- Guwahati, Tamil nadu- Chennai.
• However NTA can increase number of center / cities if more candidate apply from a particular state/ place.

IGNOU Stenographer JAT Recruitment Application Fees

• For UR/ OBC candidate application fees is 1000 rupees.
• For SC/ST/OBC/EWS and Female members application fees is 600 rupees.
• Candidate can apply through online mode only.

IGNOU Non Teaching Posts Salary

• Junior Assistant Cum Typist- Approximate salary will be 19900- 63200 rupees per month, Level 02 of 7th CPC.
• Stenographer- Approximate salary will be 25500- 81100 rupees per month, Level 04 of 7th CPC.

IGNOU Recruitment 2023 How to apply online :

1. Click on the link below. Choose your university for which you want to apply.
2. First complete registration process. Then you got application number on your email.
3. Login with application number and password and then complete all steps one by one.
4. A candidate is allowed to submit only one Application Form. If a candidate submits more than one Application Form, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
5. Kindly enter your education qualifications and any additional qualifications carefully. The system will automatically determine the posts you are eligible for based on your qualifications within our education system.
6. Candidate has to upload his/ her basic details. Candidates need to enter their details like name, Aadhar number, email-id, mobile-number, etc. Candidate need to upload recent photograph, signature, education, income, caste certificate etc.
7. Be care full for enter each required detail it is verified at the time of document verification after passing all the test. A candidate may be disqualified if wrong data provided.
8. Passport size photo must be between 10kb to 200kb. Signature must be between 4kb to 30kb.
