NIMHR stands for the National Institute of Mental Health Rehabilitation, located in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh. Established in 2019, it operates as a central-level autonomous institution under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.

NIMHR functions as a National Institute dedicated to mental health rehabilitation. Its primary aims include fostering mental health recovery through a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach, facilitating capacity building, nurturing skilled professionals in the field of mental health rehabilitation, conducting research and development initiatives, and contributing to the formulation of policies that advance mental health rehabilitation services.

NIMHR Recruitment 2023 for various posts intends to engage the services of young and energetic candidates in various disciplines as detailed below on contract basis for a period of 03 year only, which may further be renewed as a fresh assignment based on functional requirement or as per requirement of the Institute and
satisfactory performance of the candidates.

NIMHR Recruitment Education Qualification

1. Assistant Professor (CCCG)- Essential Qualification: – 1. B.ED. SE(ID) with 5 years of experience OR 2. M.Ed. SE(ID) with 3 years of experience Must be registered with RCI.
2. Lecturer (DVRID) -Master’s in Social Science with DVTE(MR)/D.SE.(MR) or Master’s in Social Science with DVR-ID/B.Ed.SE(ID), with 2 years of experience in ID/MR field and registration with RCI is necessary.
3. Lecturer (DCBR)– Master’s degree options include Rehabilitation Administration (MDRA), PGDEI, Social Science with PGDRP, Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (MASLP), or Social Science with B.Ed. with 2 year experience.
4. Lecturer(Psychiatric Social Work)- Essential Qualifications: M. Phil in Psychiatric Social Work and 2 years’ experience in relevant field.
5. Rehabilitation Officer- PG Degree in Social Work/Sociology/ MDRA/Psychology and 2 year experience.
6. Psychiatric Nurse– M.Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing with NCI/MPNC registration or B.Sc Nursing with 2 years full time experience in Psychiatric Nursing.
7. Occupational Therapist- Bachelor in Occupational Therapy and Minimum 2 years’ experience also registered from concerned council
8. Workshop Supervisor (DCBR)- Master Degree in Social Sciences with Diploma in any disability. Must be Registered with RCI. and 3 year relevant experience.
9. Demonstrator (CCCG)- Diploma in Special Education or any disability sector with 2 years of experience in relevant field. OR B.Ed. SE (ID) with 1 year experience and Must be registered with RCI.
10. Junior Assistant (Store and Purchase)– Graduate with Computer Knowledge and 5 year experience in Store and Purchase deptt. in any govt organization or similar.
11. Clerk- 12th pass, 35 WPM speed Computer typing and 2 year experience in related field.
12. Computer Operator- Graduation with experience in Hardware and Networking, DTP, Tally and knowledge of Design.
13. MTS- Minimum 10th Pass.

NIMHR Recruitment Selection Process

• The Selection will be based on written test or interview and document verification.
• Date and time for Document Verification will be determined by NIMHR, Sehore. The schedule for the interview/written test/skill test will also be decided by NIMHR, Sehore.
